Day 21 - horse lattitudes

I always thought the Horse Latitudes were named because when ships were becalmed and stuck there the sailors were forced to eat the horses. But wikipedia tells me that's not true.

Anyway, I finally took Patrick's Day 19 advice and took it easy last night. I did just the jump ropes and made sure to eat every single alloted gram in the diet. Today is jumprope Friday and hopefully a couple days of taking it easy will restart my system.

I'm eating my 9:30am snack now at noon, had a pile of stuff to do at work today. Don't you hate when you have to work at work? It is the worst.

So, I really am back on track and sorry that I wined about nothing yesterday. I wasn't knocking the program or anything like that. It was a little humbling to read about E's knees disintegrating and still making it through the workouts while I had to take a half-day.

  1. Mike, don't worry about it. Don't put your feelings into the category of "nothing". It obviously was something that you were going through. And I didn't feel you were knocking the program, you just hit a wall (probably one of the many that we'll experience) and you needed someone to encourage you on.

That's why we're here -- to listen and support each other. That's the cool thing about being on a team -- we understand because we're probably feeling the same way.

    You're doing just fine!

  2. Heh heh, never feel like you have to censor yourself or make us look good. If you're hatin on the PCP, write it out. Just don't stop. We can take it!

  3. Mike-I had the same experience over the last few days-It was helpful reading your post after I had written mine, as I realized again how much we can all help each other. Have some simple goals for week 4 and beyond..Looking forward to finding and sharing some more inspiration this week..I know I need it ( and some sleep !)

Honestly-You are doing great, as are E, Jessica and Anshuman.
Think about how much we have learned and done in 3 weeks...
